April 7-9 Baler, Aurora Surf 4 I regularly surf with friends but this Holy weekend it's time for some Mother-daughter bonding. So my mom and I headed for Baler midnight of Saturday. It's a long vacation and I figured it'll be difficult to get seats, so as early as February I already reserved seats for this trip. Because I'm with my mom, we had a decent lodging at Aliya. Yey for mee. Room with aircon, bath, tv wow these are bonuses! I don't usually have these on regular surf trips. We just either squeeze ourselves in a cheap room or bring tent to save money. Food glorious food! Again thanks mom for feeding me. Free food for me! Mom and I waiting for our food in Aliya    Since it's a long vacation, a crowded line up is expected.  Yess very much crowded. March 31-April 1 Baler, Aurora Surf 3 We weren't able to ride the JoyBus on our last trip to Baler ( Hari ng Sablay) sot this time, James reserved 20 seats two weeks before our scheduled surf. Yess 20! All 16 of us showed up at the bus station 1230am of Saturday. It wasn't raining when we left Manila so I was hopeful that weather condition in Baler will turn out good as well. But no! It was raining, brrrr... and it was freezing cold. We headed straight to our new-found cheap lodging at Radas, dropped our things and had our breakfast at Bay's Inn. We figured the weather won't cooperate the whole weekend so we fought the cold weather and still paddled out. Sayang naman binyahe ko kung di ako lulusong. Big waves on Saturday. Got some solid rides with Denden. Jamming on a cold Saturday night. It was Ate Olive's birthday celebration as well! All of us went to her house to celebrate her special day.
