Marie-Anna-Gene-JZ Suit up my friends and let's surf :) Lobbot Yogini Anna teaching us the move Photos by Marie Tabugadir Because of this trip I'm excited to enroll in yoga. I've been planning to have yoga months ago but it never pushed through. This coming June promise I'll go for it. They say yoga and surfing complement each other. Balance is really important in surfing. I guess I'll develop that in yoga. I've seen how toned Anna is! Wow hmmm and her abs! Deym. I'll have my own pandesal too hahaha. :) Back Track  Surf 1: Hari ng Sablay Surf 2: Para sa'yo to Kid Surf 3: Rainy Surf   Surf 4: Holy weekend   Surf 5: Commit

May 5-7 The Hidden Falls Auroroa Surf 5 I'm a weekend warrior, that means my surf trips always fall on a weekend. But since we're to explore the hidden falls in Aurora, I worked my way so I won't report on Monday. And yes my boss allowed me. My mom made a big fuss about going back on Monday. She said I should absent myself doing fruitful, important things. I argued and told her that surfing is fruitful and important to me! And that one day leave from work is the perfect and only reward I could give myself. I think she got my point. All set  I thought our surf explo won't push through due to series of events. I don't know if they were just tests or a sign that we shouldn't leave Sabang anymore. Timing nga naman, kaya lang wrong! The locals kept on saying. Sabang beach was flat and I don't want my Monday leave to be wasted. So instead of leaving early morning, we decided to wait for the comp in Bahia 1 to end, to accommodate the locals who want

Siquijor-Dumaguete-Guimaras-Dumaguete (Part 3 & 4)

April 10-15, 2012 Siquijor-Dumaguete-Guimaras-Dumaguete Part 3 of 4 (Guimaras) From Bethel we went to Ceres terminal. It was a 5-hour trip to our drop-off point ( sorry but I forgot the place) Tricycle drivers swarmed toward us asking where we were heading. We were to catch the ferry to Guimaras but they informed us that the last trip just left. After some negotiations, we ended up taking a pump boat. The beginning of our buwis-buhay, butas-bulsa experience. More than an hour boat ride. Waves were big. I was praying for our safety the whole time. Thank God we were all safe.We took a van to our lodging. We had a very decent lodging. All nine of us were in one room. The next day, we were up early for the island hopping. In one island we spot a pawikan. I wanted to release the pawikan in the ocean. Poor creature. We went to three islands and every scenery was just breathtaking. We were rushing right after the island hopping. We had to catch the 1pm ferry. And yes we were just on

Siquijor-Dumaguete-Guimaras-Dumaguete (Part 2)

April 10-15, 2012 Siquijor-Dumaguete-Guimaras-Dumaguete Part 2 of 4 April 12, we were back in Dumaguete. We stayed in Bethel Guest House. Honestly, I didn't like our accommodation there. It looked like a hospital. That's just my comment I really don't care cos I didn't spend for it anyway. For lunch we had Jo's Chicken Inato. Right after lunch we had our courtesy call with the Governor of Dumaguete and got a taste of what this City has to offer. The Balinsasayao lake is just one of the tourist spots the city boasts. Very very beautiful I must say. Relaxing and serene place. The lake was clean and clear! Basta sobrang ganda ng view at ng lake. It was getting dark already. We rushed going back. The road was not that good plus there were no street lights. Thank God we were all safe. We retired early for the night because the next day is another road trip adventure.  *Photos to follow Part 1 of 4 Part 3 of 4 Part 4 of 4

April 10-15, 2012 Siquijor-Dumaguete-Guimaras-Dumaguete Part 1 of 4 It was an hour flight to Dumaguete via Cebu Pacific. A local tour guide welcomed us and assisted us as we took the ferry to Siquijor. Another one hour travel time. It was a smooth one I must say. The Coco Grove crew was already at the port waiting for us. We had lunch at Larena Triad Coffee Shop, where you witness an over looking view of Siquijor. View palang nakakabusog na. Then we had our courtesy call with the Governor before heading to Coco Grove. Larena Triad Coffe Shop  Finally checked in at Coco Grove. Wow! Reception area was impressive. Wait until we reached our rooms. Jaw-dropping. Ang ganda sobra!. The resort is 7 hectares big so you could just imagine the long walk from one area to another.  Team building games in the afternoon. Jeri and I were the facilitators. We had 4 games lined up. Animal Sound, Team Cheering, Samson and Delilah, Egg Drop. The group was divided into two teams, Beth and the
