Part 3 of 4 (Guimaras)


From Bethel we went to Ceres terminal. It was a 5-hour trip to our drop-off point (sorry but I forgot the place) Tricycle drivers swarmed toward us asking where we were heading. We were to catch the ferry to Guimaras but they informed us that the last trip just left. After some negotiations, we ended up taking a pump boat. The beginning of our buwis-buhay, butas-bulsa experience.

More than an hour boat ride. Waves were big. I was praying for our safety the whole time. Thank God we were all safe.We took a van to our lodging. We had a very decent lodging. All nine of us were in one room.

The next day, we were up early for the island hopping. In one island we spot a pawikan. I wanted to release the pawikan in the ocean. Poor creature. We went to three islands and every scenery was just breathtaking. We were rushing right after the island hopping. We had to catch the 1pm ferry. And yes we were just on time. This was the time we found out the boat men from yesterday took advantage of us. Ferry transport costs Php65 and we were asked to pay 300 yesterday. Deym!

Part 4 of 4 (Dumaguete)

It was the longest and most tiring trip back to Dumaguete. This time we stayed in Silliman University Alumni Hall. The dorm was nice as compared to Bethel and way cheaper. Everyone of us needed a nice cold shower after that long dusty road trip! So before dinner we freshened up for one of our officemate's birthday treat. We had our dinner at Hayahay, a chill place with live band near the boulevard. We explored the whole stretch of the boulevard after. Food trip! Good times indeed in Dumaguete.

The next day, breakfast at the famous Sansrival. I bought home silvanas for mom :)

Six days of vacation. It's all I need to getaway from the noise and pollution in Manila. And yess there are still a lot more to explore here in the Philippines. Next major trip will be in August! Samar surf with the best surf buddies :)

5am in the morning we arrive at SM Mall of Asia (MOA) parking lot. I was with Phoebe, James, Jedd and Jay, who drove us. There were already a lot of participants roaming. I got off the car and started securing my toe nails with band aid! Ayokong matanggalan ulit ng kuko. Dalawaang beses na kong natanggalan. By 5.15am we were with the rest of the UP MBS runners. Yeahay! It's my first ever 10k run. 5.30am the event began. RUN! The MBS pack run All of us running together. I couldn't have finished 10k without the MBS support. I really can't believe I made it! I'm so proud of myself. An hour and 15 minutes of running. Whew! Now we have a time to break weee. My legs and feet are still aching! But the whole experience was worth the pain. Short Lived 2 of 2

I learned and discovered things about myself and about relationships that I wouldn't have known without having gone into that short lived relationship. Lower the tone of my voice. He's the first person who told me that I talk as if I'm angry or picking a fight. And then I got it validated by a colleague who told me to hear myself when I speak weeks later. I'm very cautious now. I believe I have the sweetest voice already! Be vocal of how I feel . There's nothing wrong with showing your vulnerable side to your partner. Trust that your partner wont judge you or belittle you .  Be open and honest with everything. No secrets. Your partner has the right to now after all he's the one who should be able to listen to you and help you. Getting into relationship means hard work . 3 1K LOSS

 Today I lost 1K USD. It's the initial amount I invested on XTB. I'm now left with 223 USD, which is the total profit I gained since the day I started trading for real (Sept __, 2023).  Here's what happened. I mistakenly opened a wrong position. I checked long frames and they seem to be down trend. I put a trend line on h1 frame and it's also going down with 3 candles going up. I figured those were negligible and will eventually go down. I went on to check m1 frame and as soon as it went down trend, I clicked red for sell. And less than few minutes, trend went up. Increasing my loss too. I couldn't look anymore so I logged out.  My strategy was to let it open overnight, thinking it will eventually go down to the set TP. Hours later, XTB automatically closed my position at -1023 loss.
