I regularly surf with friends but this Holy weekend it's time for some Mother-daughter bonding. So my mom and I headed for Baler midnight of Saturday. It's a long vacation and I figured it'll be difficult to get seats, so as early as February I already reserved seats for this trip.

Because I'm with my mom, we had a decent lodging at Aliya. Yey for mee. Room with aircon, bath, tv wow these are bonuses! I don't usually have these on regular surf trips. We just either squeeze ourselves in a cheap room or bring tent to save money. Food glorious food! Again thanks mom for feeding me. Free food for me!

 Since it's a long vacation, a crowded line up is expected.  Yess very much crowded. Waves weren't that big as well. But I did still enjoy the rides.

I saw a few friends there as well. MBS friends James, Diuvs, Cathy, Chino, and Reena! Assumption friends Donna and Diane. It was soo nice to see them :)

It was Ian's birthday on our last night so we had a simple celebration at his house. Fun fun jamming night! Til the next surf trip.

October 31, 2017 12monkeys, El Pueblo It was a night of good music, food, drinks, and of course good company! Forever idol Ebe. Naalala mo pa ba sa Baler nakajamming ka namin sa Bays Inn? Ung pinipilit ka ng isang lokal na magtopless ka kasi nasa dagat daw! ! Anyways solid na tugtugan talaga ito. Sa uulitin sa dagat naman na ulit. Ok so tumugtog din si Gabby ng Urbandub at sobrang ok rin niya talaga. At gusto kong sabihing let us support local artists! Dahil ang daming talentong meron ang mga Pilipino.

Aloha Surf and Music Festival 2011

Location: Baler, Aurora October 29-31, 2011 Aloha Boardsports and Travel Factor had their biggest Surf and Music Festival in Baler. There were a lot people who joined this much awaited event! And yess the concert for two nights was the highlight. Bands like Coffee Break Island, Pedicab, Franco and Wolfgang entertained the crowd! The surf competition was another highlight of the event. Congratulations to Juliette Sayoc, Champion of the beginners mixed tandem category. She wowed the spectators and made the whole Charlie Does Crew so proud of her! She dominated Heat 1 with her back side rides, pumping the waves all the way, which brought her to the finals. And oh she took home a Surf Betty board! Congratulations again Juliette you deserved it.
