February 18-19 Baler, Aurora People's Party 2012 Surf 1 We tried reserving seats at Joy Bus a week before the trip but failed to get one! An indicator that there are a lot of people going up Baler since February 19 is Aurora Day. James got us a van instead! :) Feb 17, Friday night we all met up at Starbucks Katipunan. Johanne and I were set that we'll leave our board at Perry's because the driver won't allow us to top load the boards. But Bay's brilliant idea worked! Our boards were placed inside. Sobrang nakakatawa lang itsura namin sa loob! Hindi nagkakakitaan eh! By 11:30 pm we were off to Baler. Weee! February  11-12 Location: Ilijan, Batangas TL: Patrick Ostrea ATL: Trixie Estomata Valentines Day Dive now on its Second Year! We left Manila past 6am. It was a fast road trip thanks to Jhert's driving skills. We had our breakfast and bought all the things we need at Balagtas. Past 10am we arrive Ilijan. We had the area to ourselves. The strong wind made us all restless and sleepy so we had our early siesta before the dive. The Dive It was one of the most colorful dive spots I've seen next to Seamate. Visibility was good. We didn't  spot a pawikan just like last year although Patrick claimed he saw one. We're not counting that because there's no proof hahah! Birthday surf turned home alone. I planned to have this birthday surf but then due unexpected circumstance my mom requested not to go anymore. It was very heart breaking for me. I cried to sleep night before my birthday. So anyway I'm left home alone while mom went to attend the funeral in Ilocos.

January 6, 2012 It was my last day of work. A complete mix of emotions I'm feeling. Part of me feels happy I'm moving on to a job I want and the fact that I'll be a able to pursue Masters degree. Another part feels sad that I'll leave the most bubbly and kalog team mates I've ever had. Final Team Huddle, we had the usual report of individual and team standing. Then came our team lead's announcement that it was my last day. I thought I won't cry like Shaina hahah (who had stayed in the company for 6 years). I only stayed for eight months soo I was thinking it wouldn't be hard to let go. But nooo! Naiyak ako eh! Kaya nga ayoko "magspeech" kasi maiiyak ako. Then they handed me a gift, Blue Magic pillow! Location: Baler, Aurora December 10-12, 2011 Surf 9: Christmas Surf I plotted in my planner to have a surf trip on this weekend. I don't know yet at that time who I'm going with. I thought I was surfing with Sons but then they bailed. It's the last month of  year 2011 and I have to keep my at least once a moth surf promise. So I told myself I'll surf even if I don't have anyone with me. I feel that it was Jess' plan to allow Mace and I to surf together. I got to know her thru a friend during an event in UP FA. For some random reason I texted her a week before this plotted surf trip and the next thing I know she'll be my surf sister for the weekend. Two girls gone surfing! We arrived in Baler with a gloomy weather and continuous rain. I expected it since weather forecast said there was a Low Pressure Area but I was still hopeful that Mr. Sun will come up. 3pm, it was still raining but we fought the cold weather and paddled out. Weeee I'm so happy, I can't contain the feeling. Finally got the reply from the company I want. Gave my resignation letter to my Team Lead yesterday. And now 30 days count down. Can't wait for January 2012, new year, new beginning, new life!
